Based on article: The probability of a child being abducted while walking to school has increased dramatically over the period 1900 to 2000. During the year 2000 the average school child's chance of being abducted was 8.173% The main risks were from: Bogey Men, Russian Spies, Horticulturalists and UFOs. In London alone 8,743 children disappeared without trace during the year 2000.

Script:

Scene: Busy street

FX: Sound of cars travelling along road. Sound of children as the hurry home from school.

FX: Car screeches to a halt at side of road.

 

MAN: Get in the car and I’ll give you £5.

 

FX: Sound of footsteps as boy hurries away.

 

FX: Sound of car moving along road, slowly following boy.

 

FX: Sound of car stopping.

 

MAN:  Okay how about £10 and I’ll take you to the zoo?

 

BOY: Leave me alone.

 

FX: Sound of car moving along road, slowly following boy.

 

FX: Sound of car stopping.

 

MAN:  Okay, this is my final offer. I'll give you £50, take you to the zoo and a football match.

 

FX: Sound of boy stepping over gravel and opening car door.

 

BOY: Look, it’s bad enough having a dad that drives a Skoda, but don’t ever expect me ride in the vile thing!”
